Master Thesis / Internship Opportunity in Neuroimaging and Machine Learning for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD)

 

Do you have a keen interest in neuroscience and want to make a real impact on understanding subtypes in AD?

 

We have an exciting opportunity for you!

 

As a joint research project of Klinikum Nuremberg and the Pattern Recognition Lab at FAU, we are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated student to join our cutting-edge research team.

 

What You’ll Do:

– Investigate subtypes in AD based on multimodal learning

– Work closely with experts in the fields of neuroscience and machine learning.

– Conduct in-depth analysis of MRI images

– Help contribute to discoveries that could change our understanding of AD subtypes

 

What You’ll Need:

– Knowledge of deep learning, python and pytorch (or willing to learn e.g. pytorch)

– Basic knowledge of neuroscience, MRI imaging (would be a plus)

– A curious and inquisitive mind, coupled with strong analytical skills
