Prajol Shrestha received his Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology, specializing in Media Processing Systems, from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in December 2024, and his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

In February 2025, he joined the Pattern Recognition Lab (PRL) as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Andreas Maier. His research lies at the intersection of AI and robotics, focusing on developing novel methods for swarm behavior, motion planning, and control. He explores techniques in Machine Learning, Model Predictive Control (MPC), Sensor Fusion, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Reinforcement Learning, and Imitation Learning to enhance multi-agent cooperative communication, coordination, and navigation, with the goal of achieving intelligent swarm behavior.
