New PhD student
Zijin Yang joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in August 2020 as a Ph.D. candicdate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier on the topic “Intelligent MR Diagnosis of the Liver by Linking Model and Data-driven Processes (iDELIVER)“. His research interests lie in data-driving image analysis including segmentation, reconstruction and classification.
He completed his Master’s degree in Medical Engineering, branch of Medical Image and Data Processing, from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. The topic of his thesis was “Binary Random Projections: an efficient method for the optimization of neural networks for fundamental computing problem”.
