New PhD student
Linda Vorberg completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Medical Engineering at FAU Erlangen. In addition to her studies, she worked as a working student at Siemens Healthineers as a software developer for MR and later in pre-development for CT imaging. She completed her master thesis in August 2022 at the Pattern Recognition Lab in cooperation with Siemens Healthineers CT on the topic “Detection of Pulmonary Embolisms using Deep Learning”. In July 2023, Linda joined the Pattern Recognition Lab as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. Her work will focus on Image Analysis for Stroke Diagnosis using Deep Learning and CT images and will be in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers.
