New PhD student
Adithya Ramachandran received his Master’s degree in Computational Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. He joined the Pattern Recognition Lab on October 2021 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier and Siming Bayer. His research project is in collaboration with DIEHL Metering, Nürnberg. The focus of his project lies in synergizing data and setting up a digital twin for utility infrastructure (heat and water supply). The project also explores the application of machine learning and deep learning models to proactively manage utility infrastructure enabling decarbonization, utility optimization.
