New PhD student
Martin Loh received his Master’s degree in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. He joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in January 2022 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier and Prof. Frederik Laun. His research project is funded by the Pattern Recognition Lab and the Radiology Department of the University Hospital Erlangen. His research focuses on intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM), which is a method in diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI). This concept enables the separation of tissue and perfusion signal in human organs. The purpose is to investigate the influence of different acquisition settings on the obtain IVIM parameters.
