New PhD student
Fabian Wagner received his Master’s degree in Physics from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. He joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in October 2020 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. His Ph.D. research project focusses on in vivo high-resolution studies of living bone to understand osteoporosis (4-D nanoSCOPE). The project will be carried out in cooperation with Universitätsklinikum Erlangen and Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin. His research interests lie in Monte Carlo simulations for dose estimation purposes and deep learning.
