End of May, our team – led by Prof. Andreas Maier – traveled to Fully3D 2025, the 18th International Meeting on Fully Three-Dimensional Image Reconstruction in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Over four days of talks and workshops, we shared our latest CT-reconstruction advances and forged new collaborations.

We are proud to announce that PhD student Linda Schneider received the Outstanding Presenter Award for her paper “An Update to PYRO-NN: A Python Library for Differentiable CT Operators”.
Her work on integrating deep-learning frameworks with CT forward and back-projection operators impressed both reviewers and attendees alike.

Joining Prof. Maier and Linda were postdocs Siming Bayer, Paula Andrea Pérez Toro, and Tomas Arias-Vergara, along with PhD students Yipeng Sun and Chengze Ye. Together, our LME delegation contributed to a week filled with scientific exchange, collaboration, and inspiration.
