New PhD student
Faezeh Nejati Hatamian received her Master’s degree in Medical Engineering, branch of Medical Image and Data Processing, from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. She joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in April 2020 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. Her Ph.D. research project focuses on the determination of the forming limits of metal sheets using deep learning. This research will be carried out in cooperation with FAU’s chair of Manufacturing Technology lead by Prof. Marion Merklein.
