New PhD student: Sebastian Baum joins the PRL
Hello everyone,
my name is Sebastian Baum. I completed my Master’s degree in Medical Engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg this September, and I will be starting my PhD on November 1st as part of a collaboration between FAU and Siemens Healthineers.
My research will focus on tissue-agnostic probabilistic tumor and organ segmentation using photon-counting CT.
I’m very excited to begin this journey and to contribute to the research activities within the team.
