New PhD Student: Michael Simo Joins the PRL
Michael Simo received his Master’s degree in Medical Engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in March 2025 and his Bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering from Rheinahrcampus of the University of Applied Sciences Koblenz.
In April 2025, he joined the Pattern Recognition Lab as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Dr.Ing. habil. Andreas Maier.
His research, conducted in collaboration with MIRA Vision, focuses on deep learning with synthetic data in medical and industrial contexts.
