We are proud to announce that Franziska Weber received the Diehl Master Award for her Master’s degree in Computer Science on July 25, 2025, during the Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Engineering. Her Master’s thesis titled “Echoing the Past, Predicting the Future: An Exploration of Various Aspects related to Echo State Networks” was supervised by Dr. Lluís Belanche from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Prof. Dr. Andreas Maier from FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since April 2025, Franziska continues her academic journey as a PhD student at the Pattern Recognition Lab under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Maier.
