New PhD Student

Martin Leipert received his Master’s degree in Medical Engineering from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. He joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in April 2022 as an external Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. His research project is funded by Deggendorf Institute of Technology. His research focus lies on extracting geometric features of shoes for fitting from computed tomography scans of boxed pairs of shoes.
