New PhD student
Linda-Sophie Schneider received her Master’s degree in Mathematics from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. She joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in August 2021 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. Her research project is in collaboration with Fraunhofer IIS in Fürth. The focus of the project is to find an optimal trajectory for a freely pivoting CT.In addition, her research interests lie in the applications of deep learning and mathematical optimization techniques.
