PhD student receives Luise Prell-Preis 2019
Franziska Schirrmacher, a former PhD student at the Pattern Recognition Lab, receives this year’s Luise Prell-Preis for her excellent Master’s thesis, from which publications evolved. Parts of the thesis are published in a MICCAI paper and one Medical Image Analysis article, which was runner-up for the Medical Image Analysis/MICCAI Best Paper Award. In addition, an IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging article was recently accepted. The Luise Prell-Preis is awarded annually to students with high-impact publications emerging from their thesis and includes a prize money of 500 Euros.
