New PhD Student: Md Hasan
Md Hasan received his Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in June 2025 and his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from North South University, Bangladesh.
In July 2025, he joined the Pattern Recognition Lab (PRL) as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr.-Ing. Paula Andrea Pérez Toro and Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Andreas Maier.
His research focuses on developing machine learning methods for medical image reconstruction with applications in both MRI and CT imaging. His work aims to achieve high-quality MRI reconstructions and explore the concept of Known Operator Learning.
