New PhD Student: Franziska Weber
Franziska Weber received her Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in March 2025. Previously, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
In April 2025, she joined the Pattern Recognition Lab as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Andreas Maier. Her research, conducted in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers, focuses on the detection of lung CT scans which show no signs of actionable diseases.
