New PhD student
Karthik Shetty started working with the Pattern Recognition Lab since December 2019 in cooperation with Siemens Healthineers as PhD candidate under Prof. Andreas Maier on the topic “Patient Modelling for Interventional Environments”.
He completed his Masters in Computational Engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Erlangen, Germany. His research interests lie in 3D mdoelling and deep learning. His focus will be on creating generative human models with internal organs.
