Srikrishna Jaganathan joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in February 2020 as a PhD candidate under Prof. Andreas Maier. He will be working on 2D/3D image fusion techniques for image guided interventions. He has also been working with Siemens Healthineers from March 2020 for his PhD.

He completed his Master’s in Computational Engineering from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research interests lie in computer vision, mathematical optimization and deep learning. His focus will be on incorporating learning-based methods for 2D/3D image fusion targeted towards optimizing clinical workflows for image guided interventions.
