ETI funding

We are pleased that Siming Bayer has received the Emerging Talents Initiative (ETI) funding in 2023 for the preparation of the research project “Artificial Intelligent as a Market Participant – Implications for Antitrust Law”, which is mentored by Prof. Andreas Maier of Pattern Recognition Lab and Prof. Jochen Hoffmann of Chair of Commercial Private Law.

With the continuous progress and adaptation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various industry, Impacts and Implications for Antitrust Law has been discussed from the perspective of jurisprudence. In this joint project of Pattern Recognition Lab and the Chair of Commercial Private Law, comprehensive investigations on this research topic will be performed, especially with the focus on the technical demonstration and the analysis of the AI algorithms.
