PhD student receives AI Newcomer Award

Elisabeth Hoppe, a PhD student at the Pattern Recognition Lab, was awarded as one of this year’s 10 AI Newcomers. This award is granted to young researchers under 30 years for innovative developments in the area of artificial intelligence from the German Association of Computer Science (Gesellschaft für Informatik). Elisabeth was awarded for her achievements on deep learning based reconstruction methods for Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting. The ceremony was held in Berlin within the scope of the “KI-Camp 2019”, an event for young AI researchers organized by the German Association for Computer Science (Gesellschaft für Informatik) and the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung).
