New PhD student
Frauke Wilm received her Master’s degree in Medical Engineering, branch of Medical Imaging and Data Processing, from Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. She joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in August 2020 as a Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. Her Ph.D. research project focusses on providing solutions and overcoming limitations to enable AI/deep learning based image analysis in translational research and clinical development. This research will be carried out in cooperation with Merck Healthcare KGaA. Her research interests lie in digital pathology and deep learning with focus on image segmentation and domain adaptation.
