DFG funds new project at the Pattern Recognition Lab on deep learning–based CBCT reconstruction
The Pattern Recognition Lab at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) has received funding from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) for a new research project entitled “Deep-Learning-basierte CBCT-Rekonstruktion beliebiger Trajektorien”. The project, led by Professor Dr.-Ing. Andreas Maier, will run for 36 months with a funding volume of 324,459 Euro. The Pattern Recognition Lab at MICCAI 2025
The Pattern Recognition Lab will showcase a strong presence at MICCAI 2025 in Daejeon, South Korea, with contributions across all tracks including the main conference, workshops, challenges, CLINICCAI, open data, and the PhD consortium. Highlights include new methods for X-ray imaging, CT artifact reduction, chest X-ray disease classification, mammogram lesion detection, and award-winning results in international challenges.The Pattern Recognition Lab will showcase a strong presence at MICCAI 2025 in Daejeon, South Korea, with contributions across all tracks including the main conference, workshops, challenges, CLINICCAI, open data, and the PhD consortium. New PhD Student: Michael Simo Joins the PRL
