Prize for outstanding Master’s Thesis

Nora Gourmelon, a PhD student at the Pattern Recognition Lab, was awarded a prize for her excellent Master’s thesis “End-use Classification Using High-Resolution Smart Water Meter Data”. Parts of her Master’s thesis are published in an ECWS-5 paper (https://sciforum.net/paper/view/8225) and an article in the journal Water (https://www.mdpi.com/2073-4441/13/2/236). The outstanding performance is honored with a prize money of 500 Euros. Many thanks also go to her supervisor Prof. Andreas Maier and her co-supervisor Siming Bayer, a former PhD student at the Pattern Recognition Lab.
