New PhD student
Marcel Dreier earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg. In his Master thesis he used diffusion models to generate offline handwritten text images and completed it in August 2023. Later on, he joined the Pattern Recognition Lab in October 2023 as a Ph.D candidate under the supervision of Prof. Andreas Maier. His current research focuses on machine learning on radargrams.
