Hattrick – Winning Best Scientific Contribution Awards #1 to #3 – at the German Medical Image Processing Conference

It is a great pleasure to announce that all three Best Paper Awards of the German Medical Image Processing Conference (BVM 2022) were awarded to students at the Pattern Recognition Lab.

The 1st Place was awarded to Richin Sukesh for his contribution “Training Deep Learning Models for 2D Spine X-rays Using Synthetic Images and Annotations Created from 3D CT Volumes” (Springer Link).

Maja Schlereth was awarded the 2nd Place for her paper “Initial Investigations Towards Non-invasive Monitoring of Chronic Wound Healing Using Deep Learning and Ultrasound Imaging” (Springer Link).

The 3rd Place was won by Mingxuan Gu for his contribution “Few-shot Unsupervised Domain Adaptation for Multi-modal Cardiac Image Segmentation” (Springer Link).
