We are delighted to announce that Dr. Felipe André Zeiser has been awarded a CAPES-Humboldt Research Fellowship for postdoctoral researchers by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr. Zeiser will be hosted by Prof. Andreas Maier at the Pattern Recognition Lab, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). During his fellowship, he will pursue the research project “CancerLM: A Multimodal Foundation Model for Clinical Prediction and Data Integration in Oncology.” The fellowship will run for 18 months, starting on January 1, 2027, with a research stay at FAU. Dr. Zeiser comes from UNISINOS in Brazil. We warmly welcome Dr. Zeiser and look forward to a fruitful collaboration.
